Chaplain – Carole Keily, Alpha Xi
The Chaplain encourages the presence of Ritual in members’ every day lives; provides guidance regarding the Sorority’s Ritual Ceremonies; develops resources to promote discussion of the Sorority’s values and facilitate spiritual growth of members; and performs other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
Historian – Jennifer Marshall, Alpha Gamma
The Historian provides guidance to chapters for National Convention Scrapbook awards; develops award criteria and chairs the selection committee; and performs other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
District Coordinators – delayed until further notice
The District Coordinator develops relationships and maintains contact with members and volunteer personnel in the District; identifies and engages area alumnae and friends of Alpha Sigma Tau to serve as members of Collegiate Alumnae Advisory Boards; plans, promotes and facilitates Collegiate Alumnae Advisory Board education in conjunction with the Headquarters Staff and other volunteer personnel as necessary; engages area alumnae to develop associations in alumnae-rich geographic areas; participates in strategic forums as needed; works with the Headquarters Staff and other volunteer personnel to ensure the needs of members in the District are being met with consistent and effective services; and performs other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
Appointment of District Coordinators are delayed until appropriate support can be developed for the volunteer positions.
Academics Coordinator – Amy St. John, Zeta Tau
The Academics Coordinator evaluates the scholastic standing of collegiate chapters and promotes recognition of superior academic achievement; works directly with chapters to improve academic standards; develops resources that promote academic success; and perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
THE ANCHOR Editor – Kate Sweeney, Gamma Theta
THE ANCHOR Editor coordinates the publication of at least two issues of THE ANCHOR each year and supervises the duties of THE ANCHOR editorial team; and performs other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
THE ANCHOR Associate Editor – Carole Keily, Alpha Xi
THE ANCHOR Associate Editor assists THE ANCHOR Editor in the development of each issue collaborating with Staff Writers and other members of THE ANCHOR editorial team; and performs other duties as assigned by THE ANCHOR Editor.
THE ANCHOR Collegiate Editor – Kelli O’Brien, Delta Eta; Shanee Frazier, Gamma Rho; Leah Hollingsorth, Delta Upsilon
THE ANCHOR Collegiate Editor compiles and edits collegiate material for THE ANCHOR; and performs other duties as assigned by THE ANCHOR Editor.
THE ANCHOR Design Editor – Michelle Zewe, Alpha Tau
THE ANCHOR Design Editor creates the digital production files for the publication of THE ANCHOR; and performs other duties as assigned by THE ANCHOR Editor .
Master Facilitators assist in training of collegiate member development officers, including the Vice President of Membership Development, Director of New Member Education, and Member Development Class Facilitators so their facilitation techniques, preparation, and execution of membership development programs achieve optimal results; and perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
The Music Coordinator supervises the selection of music awards; plans and directs the music at conventions; updates the Alpha Sigma Tau Song Book and music recordings; and performs other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
New Member Coordinator – Jennifer LaBonte, Delta Omicron
The New Member Coordinator assists in the development of the national new member program to ensure relevant educational objectives are being met; reviews and periodically revises the Alpha Sigma Tau New Member Education Program and resources; evaluates the results of new member examinations each year; works to improve new member retention; and performs other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
Staff Writers – Joanna Barrett, Epsilon Epsilon; Darcy Coulter, Epsilon Xi; Tori Dixon, Epsilon Gamma; Shanee Frazier, Gamma Rho ; Leah Hollingsworth, Delta Upsilon ; Ashley Hoogstraten, Beta Pi; Lauren Irby, Zeta Tau; Bev Molnar, Delta; Samantha Rill, Delta Delta ; Elizabeth Villegas, Delta Rho
The Staff Writer assists in the writing, editing, and publishing of publications and websites of the Sorority; and performs other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
CHAPTER ADVISORY BOARD
The Chapter Advisor primarily works with the Chapter President to provide guidance to the chapter, supports essential chapter operations, and serves as the chair of the Chapter Advisory Board.
Assistant Chapter Advisor
The Assistant Chapter Advisor supports the Vice President of Finance, Director of Fundraising, Director of Philanthropy, and the Budget Committee to ensure the long-term financial stability of the chapter.
The Chapter Consultant supports the Vice President of Member Development, Director of Ritual, Vice President of Operations, the Nominations Committee, and the Bylaws Revisions Committee in the areas of Ritual education and training chapter officers.
The Chapter Recruitment Advisor supports the Vice President of Growth, Director of Structured Recruitment, Director of Membership Selection, and the Recruitment Committee in regards to recruitment preparations and execution, as well as providing resources and assistance as needed.
New Member Advisor
The Chapter New Member Advisor supports the Vice President of Member Development, Director of New Member Education, and the New Member Education Committee to educate, retain, and provide leadership skills to new members within the chapter.
