Contributes to Society
“Investing in others’ success is a building block necessary for growth. Whatever you do, believe in your causes with all of your heart.”
– Dr. Amy Perry-DelCorvo, Alpha Pi and Chief Executive Officer of the New York State Association for Computers and Technologies in Education (NYSCATE)
A person who contributes to society values volunteerism, practices servant leadership, appreciates others contributions, understands the value of service to society, and puts others ahead of herself.
Contributing to society is important for everyone to do, especially Alpha Sigma Taus who vow, through the Sorority’s Creed, to “strive to contribute my share to the progress of mankind.” These additional resources are proactive steps you can take to contribute to betterment of your community.
