The National Council reviewed preliminary Night to Reunite data that showed the second annual event was indeed a success, doubling participation results over the prior year. Plans are in the works for Night to Reunite 2018.
The National Council revised the Installation Service for Alumnae Chapters to create a more meaningful and inviting experience for participants and attendees.
Kris Haskin, National Foundation President, presented revisions to the Memorandum of Understanding between the National Foundation and Sorority. The National Council adopted the revisions, which included establishment of a shared Executive Director model between the Sorority and Foundation. Through approval of both boards, Jim Paponetti is named the official Executive Director of the Foundation and is no longer “Acting Executive Director.”

The National Council approved a proposal from VonLehman CPA & Advisory Firm to conduct the FYE 2017 Financial Review.
The National Council finalized an emerging leaders program effort that has culminated in the soon-to-launch Summer Leadership Series.
In ongoing efforts to enhance the performance of the Sorority’s Standing Committees, time was spent discussing effective chair transition models.
The National Council outlined the priorities and structure for their 2017-2018 Operational Plan.
