Alpha Sigma Tau Mourns the Loss of our Collegiate Sister

Alpha Sigma Tau is saddened by the recent passing of Paige Manion. Paige was a member of the Rho Chapter at Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Our thoughts are with her family, friends, and Chapter Sisters during this difficult time.

The campus is providing counseling support. Alpha Sigma Tau national leadership is also working closely with campus officials and Rho Chapter Advisors to provide support to collegians and share condolences.

A legacy, Paige was initiated in November 2017 and served as one of her chapter’s Tau Honor Council Delegates. Her mother Sommer Manion-Springfield is a Rho Chapter alumna and serves as Chapter Consultant on Rho’s Chapter Advisory Board.

“I’ve loved this young woman since before she was born,” said Rho Chapter Advisor Andrea Rogers Mersiovsky. “I watched her grow from a quiet little girl with the sweetest voice you’ve ever heard into a smart, beautiful young woman tackling her first year of college at Southeastern and becoming a legacy of Alpha Sigma Tau. Watching her journey made me smile.”

Those who wish to share their support can send cards and letters to:
