We’re Growing! The Sorority Welcomes Four New Headquarters Staff Members.

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – Alpha Sigma Tau Sorority is excited to announce the hiring of four new staff members this summer.

Jessa Albert, Delta Upsilon, joined staff as a Growth Specialist in July. Prior to coming to Alpha Sigma Tau, Jessa taught 4th grade in Memphis, Tennessee and 3rd grade in Pensacola, Florida. Jessa graduated cum laude from Saint Leo University with a bachelor of arts degree in elementary education. She was initiated into the Delta Upsilon Chapter during the fall of her freshman year. During her time as a collegian, she held several officer positions including Director of Collegiate Alumnae-Engagement, Director of Philanthropy, and President. She also served on the National Nominations Committee from 2014-2016. Jessa looks forward to impacting membership growth and building relationships with chapters.

Brittany Booth also joined the staff in July as Assistant Director of Chapter Services. Before joining the staff at Alpha Sigma Tau, Brittany served as the Director of Chapter Services for Alpha Kappa Lambda for two years. Brittany holds a master’s degree in student personnel administration from Saint Louis University, and a bachelor’s degree in psychological science from Albion College. Brittany is a member of Kappa Alpha Theta and served as Panhellenic President as a collegian. She currently volunteers for Theta as a recruitment and Panhellenic district director. Brittany is looking forward to empowering the women of Alpha Sigma Tau to uphold their values while maximizing their collegiate experience.

Sara Burns, Delta Eta (above left), joined staff as an Educational Consultant in June. Sara holds a bachelor of arts degree in public relations from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. She joined the Delta Eta Chapter during the fall of her freshman year. During her time as a collegian, she held several officer positions including Vice President of Member Development and Illuminate Class Facilitator for sophomores, juniors, and seniors. She also served on Belmont University’s Panhellenic Council as a recruitment counselor for the fall of her junior year.

Jessica (Jess) Harper, Delta Mu (above right), also joined staff as an Educational Consultant in June. Jess has a bachelor of fine arts from Cumberland University in Lebanon, Tennessee. As a junior, Jess was a founding member during the re-colonization of the Delta Mu Chapter and served as the Chapter’s first president.

“We are excited to have these exceptional women joining our team and helping to advance the mission and goals of Alpha Sigma Tau,” said Angie Bong, Associate Executive Director of Member Services. “They each bring unique experience and skill sets, and are great additions to our team as we work to serve and support the organization and its members.”

The purpose of Alpha Sigma Tau is to promote the ethical, cultural, and social development of its members.
