Giving Our All: The Campaign for 125 Years of Alpha Sigma Tau

For 125 years, Alpha Sigma Tau has been a transformative force in women’s lives—fostering friendship, academic support, and personal growth. Today through the Giving Our All Campaign, we honor this legacy by securing our Sisterhood’s future for generations to come.

With a goal of $1.25 million, Giving Our All will strengthen Alpha Sigma Tau’s critical initiatives and provide a sustainable level of support that our Sisters can count on.

The stakes are high, but together, we will ensure Alpha Sigma Tau continues to thrive. Join us in Giving Our All.

Our Campaign Priorities

Giving Our All has three pillars, each inspired by the Creed of Alpha Sigma Tau.

Purpose

Alpha Sigma Tau is committed to growing the resiliency of all members.

GOAL | Expand support for leadership and personal growth programs by fully funding Officer Academy and Name Your Story for three years—and welcoming 125 Anchor Society donors to make it possible.

For generations, Alpha Sigma Tau has played a vital role in helping women find their voice and create supportive, lifelong relationships. Today, as mental health challenges facing college students are on the rise and the U.S. workforce still faces a gap in women in leadership roles, Alpha Sigma Tau is a critical part of helping women thrive, both in college and beyond.

This campaign pillar supports leadership and personal growth education and programming that allow participants to grow their interpersonal skills, build resilience and confidence, enhance their emotional intelligence, practice social responsibility, and navigate life’s uncertainties.

Your investment in Giving Our All empowers today’s Sisters, strengthens Alpha Sigma Tau for generations to come, and ensures a meaningful, relevant experience for every member.

Supporting critical programs and initiatives like…

Officer Academy

Ensuring all incoming chapter officers are equipped with the leadership skills they need to lead effectively in their chapters today and beyond campus tomorrow.

Pictured above: Nearly 500 incoming Executive Committee officers attended Officer Academy 2025—that’s 85% participation! Today, you can ensure Officer Academy is guaranteed for our next group of officers.

Name Your Story

Providing our collegiate members and advisors with the education and resources they need to care for their mental health and cultivate healthy relationships within their chapters.

Pictured above: Psi/James Madison Chapter President Catie Cataldo said this of her chapter’s participation in Name Your Story: “My Sisters are more supportive. More understanding. More willing to show up for one another in ways that really matter. Alpha Sigma Tau is helping us create this culture.”

Empower women. Secure our future.

Progress

Alpha Sigma Taus are relentless in their pursuit to support one another.

GOAL | Establish at least 10 new scholarships, increase our investment in the academic pursuits of our Sisters

A scholarship from the Alpha Sigma Tau Foundation can be the difference between a Sister finishing her degree, pursuing internship opportunities, and staying involved on campus and with her chapter. While the cost of education is ever-increasing, and the need for financial assistance has never been greater, donors to the Alpha Sigma Tau Foundation can be part of this solution. Our scholarship program has awarded hundreds of scholarships since its inception, helping women achieve academic success and contributing to successful careers.

With support from donors throughout Giving Our All, we will increase our investment in the academic pursuits of our collegiate and alumnae Sisters.

Receiving a scholarship helps me chase my dreams and achieve my goal of graduating with high honors, while alleviating the expenses of my college education. It is especially meaningful to receive this scholarship from the organization that has transformed my life and given me a lifelong Sisterhood.

Permanence

We refuse to allow the chronicles of our history to be forgotten as the world changes.

GOAL | Fund the next two phases of our archives preservation: Scrapbooks and Albums, and Early Days of Alpha Sigma Tau

The letters, photographs, and artifacts of Alpha Sigma Tau are more than just keepsakes—they are living proof of our Sisterhood’s resilience, leadership, and impact on women’s history. These treasures connect us to the women who came before us and inspire those who will follow.

But right now, much of our history is at risk. Tucked away in aging boxes and fading albums, these irreplaceable pieces are vulnerable to time, decay, and eventual loss.

In 2023, Alpha Sigma Tau launched a bold mission to digitally preserve our archives and make them accessible to all, forever. Thanks to the generosity of donors, we’ve created a digital museum and safeguarded 400 pieces of our history—but tens of thousands remain.

Your support can change that.

By contributing to the Giving Our All Campaign, you’re not just preserving documents—you’re protecting the heart of Alpha Sigma Tau. Together, we can ensure that the powerful stories of our Sisterhood continue to inspire, educate, and unite women for generations to come.

Our Sisterhood’s history and stories are locked away in storage boxes, photo albums, and filing cabinets like these at Headquarters in Indianapolis. But with your help, we’ll unlock stories and protect our history.

The next two phases of archives preservation are only possible with your support:

Scrapbooks and Albums

Many AΣΤ memories live in scrapbooks and photo albums. Between fragile pages, dried glue, and loose binding, we’re running out of time to save these pieces before they deteriorate further.

Early Days of Alpha Sigma Tau

We’ll preserve materials related to our Founding members and our establishment in 1899, and items currently on display at Headquarters. These pieces of history are among the oldest, delicate, significant in our archive.
