Mental Health and Wellness

Through your best days and the most challenging times of your life, your Sisterhood is a steadfast support system. On our best days, our Sisters are by our side cheering us on—celebrating our accomplishments with us. And in our darkest times? Well, sometimes they don’t know what to do to help us. And sometimes we don’t even know what to do or where to go for support.

When it comes to mental health, we believe it’s okay to not be okay. We’re here to normalize the conversation and help our members navigate their stressors and take control of their emotional wellness.

Brief mental health screenings are the quickest way to determine if you or someone you care about should connect with a behavioral health professional. Our screenings are completely anonymous, fast, and free.

Learn strategies for navigating the stress of college life

Did you know that one-in-four young adults between the ages of 18-24 has a diagnosable mental illness? Or that 75% of lifetime cases of mental health conditions begin by age 24?

These reasons and more are why Alpha Sigma Tau prioritizes our collegiate members’ mental health. To help our members practice emotional wellness, we’re proud to provide Mental Well-Being for Students, an online course to help our Sisters in college with:

Practicing self-care

Recognizing when you or your peers are in distress

Taking action to find additional support

Due to the specificity of the content, this course is only available to AΣT collegiate members.
