The goal of Convention is to impart an unwavering enthusiasm, pride, and affinity for the Alpha Sigma Tau experience into the hearts and minds of all who participate.
Fostering Meaningful Connections
Ask alumnae why they continue to return to Convention, and you’ll likely get one answer: the friendships. From the moment you register, you will have the opportunity to build true and invaluable connections and friendships with Sisters from around the country.
Whether you’re a chapter officer, alumnae group member, or a member enjoying the event, you’ll certainly find a few Sisters who will become a connection for life.
Making impactful leadership decisions
The cornerstone piece of Convention is our business meeting where we elect new officers and vote on legislation. During the General Sessions, delegates make important decisions about the future of our Sorority, including the selection of Sorority leadership for the next two years.
Night at the Aquarium Welcome Event
We reserved a space at the Florida Aquarium for our kick-off event! Attendees will enjoy an evening of sea life exploration, delicious eats, and new memories with Sisters.
This event is included in the full registration package, and for locals, we have a stand-alone ticket available.
Saturday Excursions
Get out of the hotel and enjoy the city! Participants will have the opportunity to explore parts of Tampa they want to see and connect with members who share common interests in more relaxed, intimate settings. Participants will be able to select from pre-planned excursions or plan their own.
Celebrating and Honoring Sisters
National Convention is a time to recognize individual and chapter achievements, share in the pride we have for each other’s accomplishments, and remember those who have entered the Eternal Chapter.
Awards
Individual and chapter awards are presented throughout Convention during the Friday Luncheon and Yellow Rose Banquet.
Yellow Rose Banquet
A longstanding Alpha Sigma Tau tradition, the Yellow Rose Banquet caps off the last full day of Convention in style. Dress up, enjoy dinner with your Sisters, celebrate individual and chapter accomplishments, and participate in the Candlelighting Service.
Memorial Service
Honor those Sisters who joined the Eternal Chapter and live on in our hearts. This moving service offers the chance to not only mourn Sisters we lost, but also celebrate their lives and contributions to their Sisters in Alpha Sigma Tau.

Expanding our Minds
Convention is also a time and place to learn new things! We’ll have engaging speakers and programs to help you continue your journey of lifelong learning and grow as an individual.
Advancing our Sisterhood
The Alpha Sigma Tau Foundation will be continuing the beloved traditions of the yellow rose tribute gifts and the silent auction, both available online and in person.
