Alpha Sigma Tau Welcomes Directors of Chapter Services and Advisor Development

Bevin Klabunde joins Headquarters Staff as Director of Chapter Services

Alpha Sigma Tau is excited to welcome Bevin Murphy Klabunde as Director of Chapter Services. In this role, Bevin is responsible for the strategic oversight and operational management of the collegiate chapter experience. She manages the Sorority’s incident and crisis response process, serves as the Headquarters Staff Contact for assigned client chapters, and empowers frontline staff to create an exceptional member experience.

Bevin joins the Alpha Sigma Tau staff most recently from Delta Gamma Fraternity where she served as the Assistant Director of Collegiate Development and Chief Panhellenic Officer. In that role, she supervised, trained, and supported a team of Collegiate Development Specialists; supported over 150 collegiate chapters across North America; assessed risk management patterns and recommended intervention strategies for chapters demonstrating high-risk behaviors or experiencing a crisis; and led the collegiate extension team of staff and volunteers. She had five years at Delta Gamma over two different stints.

Outside of her professional experience with Delta Gamma, Bevin worked as an intern in the Canadian Parliament and as a Membership Manager with Girl Scouts of Ohio’s Heartland. Bevin earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from Furman University and is currently completing her M.Ed. in Leading Organizations from Vanderbilt University. She lives in Columbus, Ohio, and will work remotely.

Rachel Bourgeois Green rejoins Headquarters Staff as Director of Advisor Development

Alpha Sigma Tau is excited to welcome Rachel Bourgeois Green (Phi 2005/Southeastern Louisiana) back to staff as Director of Advisor Development. Before her current role, Rachel served Alpha Sigma Tau as an Educational Consultant (2009–2011) and Director of Meetings and Events (2016-2019).

Now as Director of Advisor Development, Rachel supports and empowers Chapter Advisory Boards. She is responsible for the recruitment, onboarding, training, and support experience of these crucial frontline volunteers.

Outside of her professional experience with Alpha Sigma Tau, Rachel worked for Southeastern Louisiana University in student engagement, student government, and residential life. Her love for serving others landed her an opportunity to work on Capitol Hill in a House of Representatives congressional office and for a U.S. Senate committee. Most recently, Rachel was the Director of Operations for the Cara Pearlman Group of Compass Real Estate, where she reimagined the lead conversion processes and client touch point programs—leading the team to a record-breaking year in both sales volume and units sold.

Rachel holds a B.A. in Communication and an M.A. in Organizational Communication from Southeastern Louisiana University and a Professional Certificate in Organizational Consulting from The University of Texas at Dallas’ Naveen Jindal School of Management.

She lives with her husband, Geoffrey, and her rescue dog, Toby, in Northern Virginia, and will work remotely.
