Alpha Chapter – Joyce Berg Memorial Scholarship

Every AΣΤ chapter has a few alumnae members who make a lasting impact on their chapter. For the Alpha Chapter, Joyce Berg was one of these women.

When Joyce took her Initiation vows in 1957, she committed herself to her Alpha Sigma Tau Sisters and Sisterhood. As a member and later as a Chapter Advisor, she mentored generations of Alpha Sisters and defined for many what it meant to be an AΣΤ. For these reasons and more, the Ypsilanti-Ann Arbor Alumnae Chapter and the Alpha Sigma Tau Foundation established the Joyce Berg Memorial Scholarship, exclusively for Alpha Chapter members at Eastern Michigan University.
