Welcome Back! Let’s Make it a Great Year.
Welcome back to another school year! I fondly remember those days … coming back to campus, seeing old friends, and looking forward to another great year of Sisterhood with my Alpha Sigma Tau chapter. I remember being excited about all the possibilities that lay ahead.
As we look forward to the coming year, there is a lot going on in Alpha Sigma Tau to be excited about! We spent a lot of time over the past several months listening to you, our members, about the future direction and growth of our Sorority. We held surveys, focus groups, and conversations with thousands of members like you across the country. We did this so that we could focus our efforts on building a Sisterhood Experience that delivers what you value most, empowers you to excel in life, and inspires you to enrich your own life and the lives of others.
So far this year, we have:
- Reinvigorated our logo and tagline so that it better reflects what it means to be an Alpha Sigma Tau.
- Established long-term goals grounded in a strong mission, vision, and values.
- Rolled out Illuminate, our personal and professional growth program for college women, to almost all of our collegiate chapters, equipping collegians like you with proven leadership skills to become the women you aspire to be.
And that’s just the beginning! Over the next several months, the Sorority will work hard to deliver on the long-term goals mentioned above, and will roll out new programs and opportunities to enhance the bonds of Sisterhood and enrich the Alpha Sigma Tau experience, both now and for the rest of your lives.
