About Kathy Orrison Sharp
Kathy attended Ball State University where she received her B.S. in Elementary Education. Passionate about education, she continued to earn her M.S. in Elementary Education and a Specialist in School Administration from Indiana University. She retired from Indiana Public Schools after serving as a teacher, school principal, and central office administrator.
Throughout her time as an alumna, Kathy has remained involved in Alpha Sigma Tau and sorority life. She is a longtime member of the Central Indiana Alumnae Association, where she has held multiple positions. She has also been involved in the Indianapolis Alumnae Panhellenic.
A rural Illinois native, Kathy enjoys traveling and has visited all seven continents. When asked why Kathy gives to the Foundation, Kathy said, “More than 50% of all college students graduate with student loan debt. Establishing this scholarship may help—even in a small way—to alleviate some of this debt for an Alpha Sigma Tau collegian.”
