Psi Chapter – Sara Yakovac Scholarship

During her senior year at James Madison University, Sara Yakovac was diagnosed with leukemia. Despite undergoing chemotherapy and transplants, Sara passed away after a year-long battle with the disease.

In addition to being a member of the Psi Chapter, Sara was president of the JMU Economics Club and an honors student. Her Sisters describe her as brilliant, beautiful, humble, and having a huge heart.

After her passing, the Psi Chapter started this scholarship in her honor. Your generosity means the world to our hardworking JMU Alpha Sigma Taus who will benefit from your kindness—thank you!
