Volunteer as an Advisor!

The Alpha Sigma Tau collegiate experience depends on the positive support and effort of Chapter Advisory Board (CAB) members—dedicated volunteers who work closely with the local collegiate chapter officers.

If you enjoy working with college students, advancing the mission of Alpha Sigma Tau, and ensuring our Sisterhood is the safest place for women to be on campus, consider applying to become an advisor today.

Application Process

  • Verify or create your Alpha Sigma Tau profile. This process varies from person to person, so see the dropdowns below to learn how to get started.
  • Log in to the AΣΤ Learning Lounge. This is where you’ll find our library of resources, including our volunteer application.

To begin your course, make sure you’re signed in here. If you still don’t see your courses after signing in, contact learn@alphasigmatau.org.

If you are a member, use your ΑΣΤ credentials —the same username and password you use for AΣT Connect or Officer Portal—to log into your AΣT Learning Lounge account.

If you are a member and do not have an account for ΑΣΤ Connect or Officer Portal use this link to set up your account.

If you have forgotten your username or password use this link to retrieve your information.

If you are not a member, click here to send in a request to receive login credentials.
  • Complete Advising for Alpha Sigma Tau. Once logged in, you’ll also find the course in “My Dashboard.” We ask everyone interested in advising to complete Advising for Alpha Sigma Tau. This will give you a clear picture of today’s advising experience. Once you finish the course, you’ll be directed to the application.
  • Submit your application. Please have your resume handy and allow up to 10 minutes to complete the questions.
  • Book your interview. Upon submitting your application, our team will be in touch to schedule a follow-up conversation.
  • Attend your video call interview. Please be prepared for a conversation over Zoom and allow up to 45 minutes for the video call.
  • We’ll be in touch! You’ll hear from a member of our team soon after your follow-up conversation, so stay tuned!

Thank you for your interest in becoming an Alpha Sigma Tau volunteer!
