National Council Update – November 2022

November 11-12, 2022

The National Council met in Detroit, Michigan, to initiate the reorganizing class of new members at the Alpha Chapter at Eastern Michigan University. 

The Council also spent time with some collegians at the local Dress for Success affiliate for an afternoon of service.

The National Council discussed the following topics:

  • Membership recruitment/retention
  • Chapter health
  • Generational marketing trends
  • Women’s Wellness Initiative

The Council hosted its quarterly informal evaluation.

November 15, 2022

  • The National Council reviewed some follow-up items from their recent in-person meeting. 
  • The National Council renewed the MOU with the Alpha Sigma Tau Foundation.
  • The National Council adopted their call and meeting schedule through July 2023.
  • The CEO provided an overview of the Sorority’s brand standards and style guide.
  • The Council discussed future development topics.
