Alpha Sigma Tau Welcomes New Group at Dalton State College
INDIANAPOLIS, IN – The National Council of Alpha Sigma Tau has unanimously voted to establish a new chapter, Epsilon Upsilon, at Dalton State College in Dalton, Georgia, accepting the college’s invitation to join their Panhellenic community.
The opportunity offers the chance to bring an Alpha Sigma Tau presence to northwest Georgia, and be a great partner to the campus and community.
“We are excited to work with Dalton State College to establish the Epsilon Upsilon Chapter, and grow the Panhellenic community,” said Angie Bong, Director of Chapter Services. “The Sorority looks forward to providing opportunities for women at Dalton State to invest in themselves and others through the Alpha Sigma Tau experience.”
“Dalton State College is focused on being the best, and providing additional opportunities for learning outside the classroom,” said Amber Lesicko, Assistant Director of Student Life at the college. “Alpha Sigma Tau’s commitment to continual growth and defining excellence is a great fit for what we aim to accomplish as a college.”
Recruitment efforts will begin during the spring 2016 semester. Efforts will be supported by the Sorority’s Headquarters staff, including Educational Consultants who will live in the campus community to support new members as they build their chapter.
