National Council Update – February 2016

January 13

The National Council adopted proposals for Bylaws amendments and forwarded to the Governing Documents Committee for consideration at the 41st National Convention.

January 27

The National Council adopted revisions to the Standing Rules of Alpha Sigma Tau:

  • Article I, D
  • Article I, E
  • Article I, G
  • Article II, A and B
  • Article III, A
  • Article III, C
  • Article VII, D

Alpha Sigma Tau prohibits public distribution, posting, or sharing of governing documents without approval from the National Organization therefore detailed revisions will not be posted here. As such, a summary of revisions will be distributed to collegiate chapter officers and Chapter Advisory Board members.

February 8

The March 2, 2016 National Council Call was cancelled in lieu of a scheduled call on February 24, and in-person meeting March 11-12.
