October 1, 2024

  • Several guests joined the National Council for a special presentation from representatives of the Foundation for Fraternal Excellence.
  • Ashley VanDewark, Executive Director, Foundation for Fraternal Excellence and Meghan Parker, Executive Director, Zeta Tau Alpha, joined the National Council and guests to provide an overview and update on the Amplifying Sorority research efforts.
  • Revisions to the Events Policies in the Policy and Position Statements were approved.

October 15, 2024

  • Dr. Grace Henry (Psi 2022/James Madison) joined the National Council to facilitate a conversation around diversity, equity, and inclusion in Alpha Sigma Tau.
  • The National Council appointed the CEO Search Committee.
  • Jamie Jones Miller, National President, provided an overview of the upcoming NPC Annual Meeting.
  • Erika Bukva, Foundation Board President, shared an update on Founders Day of Giving.
  • The National Council discussed the upcoming November in-person National Council meeting.

October 29, 2024

  • The DEI Committee was appointed.
  • The CEO provided an overview of the NPC Extension process and the Alpha Sigma Tau Extension Decision Parameters. 
  • Angie Bong, COO, provided an update on the Women’s Owned Business Initiative. 
  • The National Council renewed the MOU with the Foundation.
  • The final logistics and details were shared for the upcoming in-person meeting.
