National Council Update – April 2015

February 19

The National Council reinstated the membership of Kelly Nash, Alpha Xi, and Alisha Newcomb Tolnay, Omicron.

The National Council served as a focus group for the data and assessment consultant team.

March 6

The National Council approved amendments to Article X of the Standing Rules of Alpha Sigma Tau related to Dues, Fees, and Assessments with an included proviso making the edits effective June 1, 2015.

March 26

The National Council adopted revisions to Alpha Sigma Tau Communications Policies.

The National Council adopted the Executive Director Transition Plan.

The National Council approved the application of Susan Newman to affiliate as an alumna to the Gamma Pi Chapter.

The National Council adopted revisions to the National Attire Policy.

The National Council adopted amendments to the Standing Rules of Alpha Sigma Tau, Article IV, E, 12, f. National President Badge and Article IV, E,12, g. Sweetheart, Mother, Patroness or Uninitiated Advisor Pin.

The National Council revisited the topic of national partnership expectations from their January 2015 meeting.
