Alpha Sigma Tau is saddened by the passing of Olivia Noel, Delta Theta
Alpha Sigma Tau was saddened to learn about the recent passing of Olivia Noel, Delta Theta. Our hearts go out to Olivia’s friends and family, her Sisters in Delta Theta, and to all who knew and loved her.
Her Chapter Advisor Gina Stano put it best when she said:
“From the beginning, Olivia was a genuine, loving Sister. Olivia exemplified endless courage as she created quite the legacy in AΣT and at Moravian. She showed an outrageous amount of courage to stand up for what she believed in: her powerful message of endless love and friendship between Sisters, which I know has touched all of our hearts. Her commitment to Panhel helped to represent AΣT in our Greek Community; she was able to touch the lives of women of other chapters and they were able to see how beautiful she was. Olivia also served as Director of Ritual, where every meeting she would lead us to say our passages, including our Creed, which required us to make a promise to ‘believe in the values of friendship and fidelity to purpose’ and to ‘believe in the fulfillment of self and will strive to contribute my share to the progress of mankind.’ It is evident that Olivia helped in the positive progress of Alpha Sigma Tau and mankind.”
To honor Olivia, her family asks that you consider donations to Moravian College for the Olivia Noel Memorial Fund. This fund will be used to support areas of the College that were important to Olivia including student scholarships and philanthropic activities associated with Alpha Sigma Tau. Gifts may be sent to: The Olivia Noel Memorial Fund, Moravian College, 1200 Main Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018.
Condolences can also be sent to the women of Delta Theta at Alpha Sigma Tau, Moravian College, 1200 Main Street, Box 9, Bethlehem, PA 18018.
