Alpha Sigma Tau National Foundation Welcomes Barbie Chadwick as Interim Executive Director

Barbie Chadwick

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – The Alpha Sigma Tau Foundation is excited to welcome Barbie Chadwick as their new Interim Executive Director.

Chadwick will lead the day-to-day operations of the Foundation, including infrastructure, finances, fundraising, and scholarships. She also will, in partnership with the Foundation’s board of directors, provide strategic leadership to ensure that the organization builds on its current upward trajectory and sets the stage for a permanent Foundation staff.

Currently residing in Nashville, Tennessee, Chadwick has more than 20 years of fundraising experience, specializing in individual giving. She has most recently served as Executive Director of the Alpha Omicron Pi Foundation, where she led all aspects of the $6.1 million organization. During her tenure, the Foundation experienced significant growth, including a successful $2.5 million capital campaign and increased annual giving by large margins during each of her three years – nearly doubling giving in 2012 and 2013. She also chaired and hosted the Second Annual National Panhellenic Council (NPC) Foundations Leadership Summit in Nashville in October 2014. She has been very active in her own sorority, Gamma Phi Beta, including serving on their International Council and the GPB Foundation Board of Trustees.

“The Alpha Sigma Tau National Foundation is thrilled to have someone of Barbie’s talent and experience join our team.” said Kris Haskin, Foundation President. “In her hands, the Foundation will be in a strong position to expand its fundraising, scholarships, and support of new, innovative initiatives like Illuminate that enrich the Sisterhood Experience.”
