Alpha Sigma Tau Supports Continuing Education in Fraternal World

Alpha Sigma Tau Sorority is excited to announce a $50,000 commitment to the Association of Fraternity/Sorority Advisors (AFA) to continue to “elevate the standard” of their annual meeting.

“As a longtime AFA partner and donor, we’re committed to serving the fraternity and sorority profession and each individual who supports our members, chapters, and the communities on our campuses,” said National President Jamie Jones Miller (Psi 1995/James Madison).

Our commitment to AFA will go directly to support the AFA Annual Meeting opening keynote address from 2024 through 2027. “We are proud to provide this $50,000 gift to support programming designed to directly address the current higher education landscape and the complex challenges our members and professionals face every day,” said Jamie.

For this year’s annual meeting, the opening keynote speaker was Dr. Britt Andreatta, an internationally recognized thought leader who uses her background in leadership, neuroscience, psychology, and education to create science-based solutions for workplace challenges. She has over 10 million views on her online courses and is the author of several best-selling books on the brain science of success.

Our CEO, Jordan Feldhaus, had the pleasure of introducing Dr. Andreatta to the AFA attendees, during which she noted that, “While the world churns with change and complexity, our students need connections like ours to be their north star. What our membership organizations offer has never been more valuable. Investing in our AFA partnership is the Alpha Sigma Tau way of being All In and saying thank you.”

Jamie agreed, “We can’t think of a better way to invest in the people who invest in our members than this commitment to AFA.”

Alpha Sigma Tau is proud to invest in the future of the fraternity and sorority profession, “elevate the standard” of our work, and further develop the communities of our members.
