National Council – June 2023

June 6, 2023

  • Tsai-Ann Yawching (Gamma Tau 2013/Lebanon Valley), National Vice President and ex-officio member of the DEI Committee, provided a brief update on the progress of the DEI Committee.
  • The National Council discussed plans to recruit Governing Documents Committee members. 
  • The National Council discussed the Learning Lounge course that will be created to replace the traditional “Get on Board” live learning session.

June 20, 2023

  • Kristina Eaton (Gamma Delta 2000/UMass Dartmouth) and Courtney Klein (Alpha Psi 2016/Northern Iowa), DEI Committee Co-Chairs, joined the National Council to present their annual report and discuss the committee’s progress. 
  • Joell Sperry (Gamma Theta 2004/Penn State Behrend), National Vice President and ex-officio member of the Governing Documents Committee shared an update from the virtual interest session, and the Council discussed applicant recruitment. 
  • The Council discussed plans for a fall 2023 virtual town hall event.
