National Council Update – February 2023

February 7, 2023

  • The Council was provided an update on the Officer Academy program’s impact.
  • The Council discussed an overview of the Nominations Committee timeline for the town hall, application, appointment, and training. 
  • The Council hosted a conversation about the future committee evaluation process. 
  • The Council discussed the 2023 Excel Cohort application evaluation and provided instructions about the process. 
  • The Council discussed the timeline for their self-evaluation.
  • The Council revisited the individual and group DiSC results.

February 21, 2023

  • Courtney Klein (Alpha Psi 2016/Northern Iowa), Co-Chair of the DEI Committee, provided an overview of the revised DEI Committee Operational Plan.
  • The Council adopted the 2023-2024 Dues, Fees, and Assessments proposal.  
  • The Council renewed the relationship with Blue and Co. for CPA services for three years.
  • The National Council accepted the request of the Delta Beta/Fairmont Chapter to relinquish the charter and dissolve the chapter.
  • The National Council accepted the request of the Omicron/Concord Chapter to relinquish the charter and dissolve the chapter. 
  • The National Council suspended the charter of the Alpha Tau/PennWest Edinboro Chapter, granted all remaining collegians alumnae status, and will execute a reorganization plan per NPC guidelines in the fall 2023 semester.
