Alpha Sigma Tau Welcomes Educational Consultants and a Chapter Services Specialist

Alpha Sigma Tau is excited to announce that Sheridan Arnold, Jacki Fustos, and Megan Mengel have been hired to serve on the Sorority’s Headquarters Staff as Educational Consultants (ECs).

As Educational Consultants, Sheridan, Jacki, and Megan will support a select group of collegiate chapters with:

  • developing a strong operational foundation
  • prioritizing an intentional growth strategy
  • fostering a healthy and safe environment
  • cultivating positive relationships with alumnae, campus constituents, and the broader community

Our three 2025-2026 ECs join our 2024-2025 Educational Consultant, Brittnie Breece. Together, the team will support our collegiate chapters and help open a new collegiate chapter at Iona University in the coming year.


Meet the Educational Consultants

Sheridan Arnold
Phi 2021/Southeastern Louisiana

Sheridan graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University with a bachelor’s degree in general studies and a minor in elementary education. She was a member of the President’s List from 2021-2025, the highest academic honor presented to Southeastern Louisiana University students each semester. During her time as a collegiate member, she served as Vice President of Member Development, Director of Academic Success, and Tau Honor Council Delegate.

Outside of Alpha Sigma Tau, Sheridan was heavily involved in serving children at her local church and worked as a waitress at a local restaurant. 

Jacki Fustos
Alpha Pi 2022/Slippery Rock

Jacki graduated from Slippery Rock University in December 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in special education and joined staff in January 2025. During her time as a collegiate member, she served as Vice President of Community Relations, Director of Housing, and Assistant Director of Finance. She also served as the chapter’s 2023-2024 Panhellenic delegate and was awarded Sorority Member of the Year in 2024. 

Outside of Alpha Sigma Tau, Jacki was a teacher’s aide in a local school district for Children’s Opportunities for Outside Learning (COOL), a free afterschool and summer program aimed at improving academic achievement, promoting health and wellness education, and providing a safe, stable environment to learn.

Megan Mengel
Zeta 2023/Lock Haven

Megan graduated from Lock Haven University in May 2025 with a bachelor’s degree in education, focusing on middle-level social studies. During her time as a collegiate member, she served as Chapter President, Vice President of Growth, Director of New Member Education, Director of Collegiate-Alumnae Engagement, and more. Megan was recognized as Convention Top Tau-Collegiate during the 45th National Convention in 2024.

Outside of Alpha Sigma Tau, Megan was heavily involved in Lock Haven’s track and field team and served as the female student representative to the Lock Haven University Student Auxiliary Services Inc. She received the Unsung Hero Award, bestowed by Lock Haven, in recognition of outstanding leadership and service to the college community.


Meet the Chapter Services Specialist

Alpha Sigma Tau is also excited to announce the addition of Hannah Walker (Upsilon 2020/Central Arkansas) to our team as a Chapter Services Specialist. 

Hannah has been working with the organization since March 2024 in a part-time capacity, guiding select chapters through recruitment and supporting their growth efforts year-round. In her new full-time role as Chapter Services Specialist, she will continue to work with chapters on growth, as well as support client chapters alongside all our Chapter Services Team members. 

Hannah graduated from the University of Central Arkansas in December 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in public administration and political science and a minor in English. 

During her time as a collegiate member, she served as Chapter President, Vice President of Growth, Director of Membership Selection, and Director of Collegiate-Alumnae Engagement. Outside of Alpha Sigma Tau, she was also heavily involved in the Student Government Association, the Student Orientation Staff, the President’s Leadership Fellows, the Public Administration Club, and more.

Currently, Hannah is working toward her master’s degree in higher education administration at the University of Central Arkansas and is a graduate assistant in the leadership studies department.
