Alpha Sigma Tau is Excited to Welcome a New Colony at the University of Northern Iowa
INDIANAPOLIS, IN – The University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa, has invited Alpha Sigma Tau Sorority to re-colonize the Alpha Psi Chapter and join UNI’s Panhellenic community. Alpha Sigma Tau Sorority has accepted the invitation, and will return to campus in fall 2016.
The National Organization is excited to welcome back the Alpha Psi Chapter through re-colonization at UNI. The re-colonization offers the chance to plug into the Cedar Falls community and be a partner to both the campus and community.
“We are excited to work with the University of Northern Iowa to re-establish the Alpha Psi Chapter, and grow the Panhellenic community there,” said Angie Bong, Director of Chapter Services. “The addition of Alpha Psi demonstrates the Sorority’s focus on growth and extension, and opening up the Alpha Sigma Tau experience to as many women of excellence as possible.”
Re-colonization will start during the fall 2016 semester. Efforts will be supported by the Sorority’s Headquarters Staff, including Educational Consultants who will live in the campus community for most of the academic year to support to the colony women as they build their chapter.
