April is Advisor Appreciation Month!

Each April, Alpha Sigma Tau celebrates our invaluable advisors who work on the front lines of our collegiate chapters. Advisors in Alpha Sigma Tau offer support and guidance to collegiate chapter officers every step of the way. They ensure that their chapters are better off today than yesterday, and most importantly, they set them up for tomorrow’s success.

Whether due to careers, families, hobbies, local communities, other volunteer commitments, or items on endless to-do lists, we know that the free time of our advisors is limited and valuable. Because they spend their time volunteering with the women in their chapters, despite their many options, Alpha Sigma Tau wants to show how much we truly appreciate their ongoing commitment and dedication to serving as an advisor.

The urgencies of the day-to-day can sometimes take priority, so advisors may not realize the impact their service has on individual members and the entire Sorority. But it’s there. Because of their dedication to advising, they help these women leave a positive legacy within both their local college communities and the 116-year-old Sisterhood of Alpha Sigma Tau.
